Loupa

Consumer & whānau review

Help improve the hernia guide

About 10 minutes in total

Loupa is developing an online guide for people having hernia care and those supporting them. Please tell us what is useful, confusing or missing. Honest criticism will help us improve it.

Adults are welcome, whether or not they are Compass Surgical patients. Your experience as a patient, family or whānau member, or support person matters.

  1. 1. Explore the guide (about five minutes)

Read a section that interests you. Try saving a question, recording what matters to you, sharing, or saving your place. You do not need to read everything or contact the clinic.

  2. 2. Return here to give feedback (about four minutes)

Answer eight quick ratings and add any comments you wish. Take longer if you need.

Taking part is voluntary and will not affect your care. We want your views on using the guide; clinicians remain responsible for its medical content.

Please leave out names and personal medical details. Email is optional, only if you want an update about what changed after the feedback.

About this review and your privacy

How feedback is used. Loupa will review what helps, what causes difficulty and what needs changing, including accessibility, cultural fit and safety concerns. We will record the main themes and changes. Clinical changes still require clinical review. We may share anonymous themes, but will not publish identifying responses.

What is saved. Draft answers stay in this browser on this device until you submit. Submitted answers are stored securely and can be read only by authorised Loupa administrators. We do not ask for your name, NHI number or medical history. Please avoid identifying details in comments.

Optional updates. If you provide an email and permission, we will send a “You said, we changed” update. Your email is stored separately from your answers and linked to your response. It is not used for marketing.

The guide and your care. Questions, priorities and saved places in the guide stay on your device unless you choose to share them. This survey cannot see them. Feedback is not added to your clinical record. Please do not call or send messages to the clinic just to test the guide. Ask your healthcare team about your own care.

Who is responsible. Loupa runs this review. Sharing through health-sector networks does not mean those organisations endorse Loupa. This survey contributes to consumer and whānau involvement; it does not establish informed consent or replace clinical review.

Where do you think the guide is now?

Using your feedback

Your feedback will be used to improve the hernia guide and Loupa’s patient-information design. We may report anonymous themes when describing the co-design process. We will not identify you from the survey.

Email address (optional)

If you would like us to close the loop, provide an email and we will send a short “You said, we changed” update explaining what changed and how consumer feedback shaped the guide.

Required: choose a perspective, confirm you reviewed the guide, answer the eight ratings, choose an overall view and agree to feedback use.

If your comments raise a clinical question about your own care, please discuss that with your healthcare team rather than relying on this survey. This page is for improving the information resource.
